Cottage Villa Henna

Rental cottage Villa Henna (area 45 m2), living spaces are located on one floor.

Rental cottage Villa Henna is a good choice for a small family or four adults.

Location and surroundings

Villa Henna is a nice one-story log cabin. It was built on a garden-like plot by the Taasia River. The sheltered entrance to the cottage faces towards the river and the sunset. Villa Henna has a covered open porch on two sides. Villa Henna got a new interior look when the pine wood walls, ceiling and floor were painted in 2018.

Wooden stairs lead to the river beach and to a pier.  In summertime in front of the cottage there is a lawn and garden furniture.  Next to the cottage there is a spacious charcoal barbecue hut.

A hedge provides good protection between the cottages Villa Anne and Villa Henna.

Neighbors

The nearest neighbor is on the other side of the river. Usually what you see are three horses in the yard. The other house is inhabited occasionally. Villa Henna is in a sheltered and quiet location.

Ground plan

The door from the porch leads to the hallway.  To the left you’ll see the lounge area and the kitchen. The bedroom is to the right as well as the bathroom. You can get into the electric sauna through the bathroom.

Bedroom

There is a double bed with spring mattress, 160 x 200 cm. Mattresses, pillows and blankets are aavailable. Bedsheets and pillowcases can be rented, or you can bring your own with you. There are nightstands and lamps on both sides of the bed.

The bedroom window overlooks the playground behind the parking lot. The room faces the sunrise but the window has blinds. A crib can be placed in the room if required.

The lounge area

This room is towards the direction of the river, the courtyard and the fields.

The lounge area has a fireplace with firewood and lighters.

The sofa can be used as a double bed, 140 x 180 cm. Blankets, pillows and mattresses can be found in the closet.

In front of the sofa there is a tea table. There is also a TV set and with a remote controller, a DVD player and an internet router (Wi-Fi).

Hallway

In the hallway there is a hallstand, a hat rack, a shoe rack and a mirror. Slippers for customers are in the basket. There are also clothes hangers and a flashlight.

Porch

On the covered open porch there is a small table and chairs.

Coziness is enhanced by flowers during summertime and fairy lights and other decorations during winter.

Kitchen

When you need to wash the dishes there are two sinks and a tap with cold and hot water. There is also a tap for the dishwasher.

You can also find a stove with an oven, a cooker hood and a cupboard for spices.

The dining table is round with space for 4 or 5 chairs around it.

On the counter there is a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster. There is a shelf with a microwave above and the dishwasher is below. The fridge with a freezer is near the sofa.

There are cabinets in the wall for kitchen utensils and food as well as drawers and extra cabinets for cutlery and other kitchen utensils.

The cupboard under the sink has dishwashing supplies and two waste bins and waste bags.

In the cleaning closet you can find a vacuum cleaner and other cleaning equipment and you can also find an iron and an ironing board. A washing machine is available in the outdoor sauna.

Bathroom & sauna

In the bathroom there is a shower, a sink, toilet and bidet. There is a potty for toddlers and a children’s toilet ring.

The mirror cabinet contains shampoo and liquid soap, toothpaste, mugs, sponges, etc.

You’ll be able to find hand and body towels, napkins, a trash bin, instruction for proper hand washing, soap and disinfection liquid. The sauna includes seat covers. A hairdryer is provided.

Fire safety

The cottage has a smoke and carbon monoxide detector and a fire blanket. There is a fire extinguisher in the hallway. Safety instructions can be found here (printed in the cottage).

Cleaning and sanitation

When cleaning we take special care to prevent virus infections. Hand washing instructions are available in the bathrooms. We use ecological cleaning products.

The waste sorting instructions

  1. Bio and mixed waste consists mainly of food and leftovers. (Trash bin under the sink)
  2. Incinerable waste, paper, cardboard, etc. (Trash bin under the sink)
  3. Glass, metal and plastic waste is placed in a separate large container.
  • Fill in the guest card, please. Thank you for adding your email address.
  • All accommodations are non-smoking. If you smoke, throw the cigarette butts in the ashtrays. Do not throw them in the yard or in the grill.
  • Do not burn candles or tea lights inside the accommodations.
  • Beds are provided with mattresses, duvets, and pillows. It is absolutely necessary to always put sheets and pillowcases on the beds (own or rented €7 per set).
  • You can wash your laundry in the washing machine in the sauna. You can find iron facilities in the accommodation.
  • The accommodation has basic cleaning equipment (broom, vacuum cleaner, mop, detergents).
  • Before your departure, wash the dishes.
  • Move all the items/containers back to their original places after moving them from one place to another.Collect debris and waste separately (bio/mixed waste; incinerable/plastic; glass, bottles and metal jars).
